A hefty 10 oz design, the ten ounce silver buffalo bars are modeled after the original Indian and Buffalo from Buffalo Nickels (also known as Indian Head Nickels) which were minted by the US Mint from 1913-1938.
This replica bar design looks as if an enlarged nickel is actually pressed into the bar itself, it features the Indian Head in a circle on a frosted background on the obverse in a vertical display with the weight and purity designation of “.999 FINE SILVER TEN TROY OUNCES” below. The reverse has the Buffalo (bison) atop a frosted finish in a circle on a criss cross waffle pattern.
