Description
2026 Austrian Mint Silver Philharmonic Coin 1oz
Since October 10, 1989, the birthdate of the “Vienna Philharmonic,” we have remained true to its iconic design. Crafted with exceptional precision, the motif has always remained the same, with only the minting year changing. From the very first mintage, one side of the coin has depicted instruments of the renowned Vienna Orchestra: a Vienna horn, a bassoon, a harp, centrally positioned a cello, flanked by violas on either side, and above them, violins. The reverse side features the organ in the Great Hall of the Musikverein.
The Vienna Philharmonic is now also available in silver, weighing 1 ounce. and platinum in 1-ounce and 1/25-ounce. These coins offer a genuine alternative to gold investments. Platinum holds its value well, comparable to gold, and in some cases, even more desirable.
Key Highlights:
- Iconic design since 1989
- Available in gold, silver, and platinum
- Precision-crafted with unchanged motifs
- Depicts instruments of the Vienna Orchestra and the organ of the Musikverein
