The Australian Swan is a limited mintage bullion coin series featuring elegant designs of the waterbird that glides majestically across the estuaries, inlets and rivers in which it lives and breeds. The 2023 coin features the seventh design from this popular series which continues to boast a strong track record of sell outs.
2023 Swan Design
The 2023 Australian Swan 1oz Gold Bullion Coin portrays a swan in a serene wetland environment. As well as the inscription ‘THE 1oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN GOLD SWAN’, the design incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and a security feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter only detectable with a magnifying glass.
Memorial Obverse
The coin bears the official Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’. Also included on the obverse is the coin’s monetary denomination.
